At Speednet Telecommunications Limited/Smart Com Belize Limited we recognize that keeping in communication during this time of national and global emergency is of paramount importance.

Our entire staff has been sensitized and charged with the responsibility to ensure our communication services, including internet, are performing at optimal levels. Our emergency, mitigation and contingency plans include the use of internal and external resources aimed at maintaining uninterrupted services to you should an outbreak occur in Belize.

Our support access numbers and personnel remain unchanged, and we will advise you in advance of any changes should this become necessary. Speednet/Smart is in regular contact with the Ministry of Health (MOH) and other organizations involved in this fight against COVID – 19 and will adjust its contingency measures in keeping with any further decisions and actions taken by GOB.

At Speednet/Smart, we are also cooperating and collaborating with the Ministry of Health (MOH) and Government of Belize (GOB) in facilitating the dissemination of their public and interagency communications in the implementation of their strategies. As an essential service provider, we are always ready to responsibly deliver necessary information to our customers and the general public.

Additionally, as a responsible people-centered corporate citizen these plans are also designed to always have the health and safety of our staff, their families and customers as a priority. We want to assure that all is being done to ensure that our services continue with normalcy.

In keeping with the Social Distancing Protocol as a prevention to the spread of the Covid-19 Virus: effective immediately, Smart will limit the amount of customers entering the showroom to a maximum of four (4) persons at a time. Our Security personnel is assigned to manage this exercise.

In an effort to avoid queues, crowds and outings, Smart customers are strongly recommended to use online banking or the Smart app to pay bills or buy credit.
